"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes."
— Marcel Proust

Nomad, Creative Spirit, Humanist & Traveler
Creative Pilgrim was born of an intuition, during my first journey to Morocco in 2005. There I grasped something essential: when one travels with an open heart, one encounters people who can change a life.
It was there that I met Nourdine, a generous man who organized treks through the Siroua, the land of saffron. Moved by his dedication, I offered him my help: a few photographs, a website — a modest contribution to support his project.
A few years later, in 2008, another encounter awaited me, this time in India, with Rakesh. He roamed Rajasthan with his beautiful taxi, carrying travelers to the rhythm of the desert. To him as well I gave a website, my photographs — and a touch of my perspective.
At that time, I did not have much. Web hosting was costly, and my means were limited. Yet the impulse was there: to give what I could, to extend a hand, expecting nothing in return. I was setting out on a path that felt true to me — a way shaped by sharing, by love, and by genuine encounters.
Then came 2016. Alone in Sri Lanka, I met Noyel. I had booked a single night at his place. He welcomed me like a brother, introduced me to his family, and from that simplicity was born a lasting friendship. I offered him a film of his home seen from the sky. He offered me several nights under his roof, and even the ride to my next destination.
That moment was a turning point. He had little, yet he gave me his very best. I realized that barter could be far more than a material exchange: it could be a human bond, a gesture of trust, a mutual recognition.
Since then, I have questioned the logics of profit, accumulation, the endless race toward “more.” What if we could live differently? What if we placed the heart once again at the center of our exchanges?
Today, I offer my skills — in creation, imagery, and communication — to those who need them. In return for hospitality, a helping hand, a shared moment. A fair exchange, sincere, in joy, respect, and love.
Over the years, these exchanges have given me true friendships, precious memories, and a different way of traveling: by seeking out those who mirror our own humanity.
And that, truly, is priceless.

"To travel is to be born and to die at every instant."
— Victor Hugo
